Classes: Pre-Teens

A program for 9-12 year olds

Firebird Dance Studio's Pre-Teens Group 1 class further develops the dance abilities of both new and continuing dancers, and building on previous classes with more intricate choreography and more dances to perform. Students learn ballroom and Latin dance, barre technique, international world dance, and original choreography. The Pre-Teens 1 program gives its students several opportunities each year to take their new skills to the stage, such as in dance festivals and last season's new show, Simcha!

Class Times

Because of the number of students in the Pre-Teens classes, we have expanded the program to allow more classes and more individual attention. The Pre-Teens are split into Group A, B, and C. Each group rehearses separately, as well as rehearsing at combined rehearsals.

Mondays, 7:15pm - 8:45pm Groups "A" and "B"
Tuesdays, 4:45pm - 6:15pm Group "A"
Thursdays, 5:00pm - 6:30pm Groups "B" and "C"
Saturdays, 2:45pm - 3:30pm Group "C"
Sundays, 2:45pm - 3:30pm Group "A"

*, ** We recommend to all our students that these classes be taken together rather than just one or the other for best results and improvement.
